Abstract

The article examines the 10th edition of the Philosophical Dictionary, published in 2024 under the editorship of Academician of the Russian Academy of Sciences A.A. Guseynov and Yu.N. Solodukhin. It is noted that the authors of the dictionary managed to adequately reflect the achieved level of development of philosophical thought in the country and in the world and at the same time introduce into this complex field of knowledge, evidently, clearly, and without resorting to simplifications. A distinctive feature of this publication is the creation of the most complete picture of modern world philosophy as possible: its topical issues, research directions, the specifics of the latest philosophical trends, the main ideas of their recognized leading representatives. Compared to the previous 9th edition, many new articles have been added. In fact, the dictionary is an encyclopedic type of publication. The undoubted advantages of the Philosophical Dictionary include a significant number of articles devoted to cultural and historical regions and countries.
